Job Description
Perform management and delivery of strategic M2M consulting solutions within one or more vertical industry. Responsibilities will include:
Working with clients to develop M2M strategy
Design and architect M2M solutions
Integrate M2M devices, modules, technologies, products, platforms and applications
Vertical industry subject matter expertise for M2M solutions
Serve as a strategic thought leader for the Professional Services (PS) organization and key clients. Deliver professional and clear presentations for M2M strategies and solutions both in written and oral format. Act as trusted advisor with key clients, providing both strategic guidance as well as overall responsibility for PS engagements.
Provide vertical industry subject matter expertise for M2M solutions, including in depth understanding of vertical industry from a business process and development, and Information technology perspective.
Perform pre-sales activities for M2M solutions. Work with sales to scope M2M solutions, and develop proposals and statements of work (SOW) for complex M2M engagements. Lead delivery of M2M solution engagements and oversee technical work and final deliverables.
Work with all internal teams to develop M2M solutions for clients. Work with product marketing to develop new M2M solutions and services.
Manage both Principal and Consultant level employees.
Vertical Industry Expertise should include one or more of the following:
Energy/Utilities
Transportation
Retail
Healthcare
Business and Professional Experience:
Excellent presentation skills in front of executives and technical audiences
Experience interacting with C-Level leadership
Technical Experience:
Development of M2M strategy
M2M architecture and solution design
Implementation and Integration of M2M solutions
Advanced skills to perform complex work for a functional area and general knowledge of other areas. Generally requires a BS degree or Master’s degree. Minimum of 9 years of experience in Information Technology and related discipline. Must have strong communication skills and be highly motivated.
