Essential Duties and Responsibilities Establish and configuration of individual computers and associated peripherals. Support of all hardware and software issues that reside in the desktop. Serves as Help Desk support call overflow. Acts as support liaison for Help Desk Tier I and II on a needs dictate. Create and maintain updated user training manuals. Should posses the ability to support the technical sale of high-speed solutions. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve both hardware and software client/user issues for the following: Email and configuration. All hardware drives and peripherals. Thorough knowledge of remote connectivity apps and software. Ability to resolve NT administration issues at the desktop level. Thorough knowledge of PeopleSoft, including but not limited to: Configuration Manager. Clearing Cache. Tier II & III logon procedures. Initial client setup routine. Installation of SQL client connectivity. Installation of ODBC Connector. Thorough understanding of Crystal reporting functions and check printing applications. Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficient in all Microsoft operating systems and associated software apps. Superior technical and organizational skills. Ability to analyze data and act on findings. Ability to effectively establish working relationships with functional departments and regional team.
